Agriculture & Food Security Project

As our community in Uganda begins to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic, we are planning ahead for the potential of further food crises as a result of future pandemics, the effects of climate change, or other widespread emergencies.

Through our participatory process with the widows, we identified that the rental of extra land and purchase of enough farm hoes for each individual widow would help them to grow enough food to stock-pile and build food resiliency as a community.

This project is supported by the Figment Foundation and Youthnited Nations.
